The Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show pop up restaurant has become an anticipated and successful event created by Square One to secure plenty of local press in the run in to the Show opening. It generates huge interest from media and local consumers prior to the Show as well as a buzz for the show’s weekend arrival in Brisbane.

For one of these events, Square One created a pop-up restaurant in the Wheel of Brisbane. The menu was designed by Matt Moran, George Calombaris, Ainsley Harriott and Alastair McLeod. The event involved liaising with South Bank Corporation and Wheel of Brisbane to ensure the necessary approvals were obtained and all aspects of the event met their respective requirements. It also involved the development of site plans, event run sheets, liquor licence approvals (inc securement of an Approved Manager to be present on the day, which SQ1 managed to secure at no cost) and the coordination of the necessary infrastructure and suppliers involved on the day (inc marquee, kitchen, tableware and wait staff). Good Food & Wine Show signs were also erected around the perimeter of the restaurant. It was a wheel-y great event (sorry, had to say it) that secured newspaper, TV, radio and online coverage.
